Auto insurance companies are giving back partial premium refunds to Arizona residents. Since, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many people to stop traveling in Arizona, and nationwide. USAA, the San Antonio-based company that serves present and past military. Will return $520 million to its individual policy holders. This is through a 20 percent programmed charge credit on two months of premiums.
Allstate Auto Insurance
Allstate situated in North-brook, Illinois, and the country's fourth biggest auto insurance company . Allstate reported it will discount 15 percent of clients' month to month premiums in April and May due to the extreme reduction in travel caused by covid-19.
Famers Auto Insurance
Farmers Insurance of Woodland Hill, California. Farmers an auto insurance giant will give residents a 25 percent decrease in their April premiums. Which is truly a huge deduction! The CEO also posted a video on the company page urging everyone to safe!
American Family Auto Insurance
American Family Insurance of Madison, Wisconsin, the ninth biggest firm in the nation. American Family is giving a one-time reimbursement of $50 for every insured vehicle under policy. American Family is one of the oldest companies in the auto insurance industry with over 90 years in the industry. They've taken a strong stance during covid to help their customers during the pandemic.
Geico Auto Insurance
Geico, headquartered in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and the 2nd biggest Auto insurance in the U.S. Geico is offering what they call the Geico give back in response to Covid-19, this is taken directly from their website:
To provide relief during COVID-19, GEICO has chosen to credit our customers "15% for your next full 6 or 12 month policy term"
On top of that Geico has promised to work hand in hand with potential late paying customers due to the massive unemployment sweeping the country.
Liberty Mutual Auto Insurance
Liberty Mutual, the Boston-based 6th biggest auto insurance provider, is offering individual accident protection clients a 15 percent discount on two months of their yearly premium. This discount will return about $250 million to Liberty Mutual and Safeco clients. The programmed discounts start in April for the state of Arizona and nationwide, showing they truly care!
Progressive Auto Insurance
Progressive Insurance will give a 20 percent reduction for April premiums to individual clients. And another 20 percent decrease in May . The givebacks applied in May and June, will be worth about $1 billion . There’s nothing you need to do if you're signed up with Progressive Auto Insurance. Progressive will automatically calculate your credit at the end of each month and apply it. Progressive will waive or hold off on collection of month in this troubling time, and urges people to call if they don't believe they will be able to make their payments in time.
